Our 1:1 sessions are a place to soften, strengthen and learn yourself deeply and intimately. Together we’ll:
Build awareness around your capacity windows so you know who you are, what you need, when to rest and when to rise.
Explore some of the unmet, younger parts of you with curiosity and compassion.
Practice conscious communication and nervous-system-informed relating (with yourself and others).
Gently integrate tools like inner child work, needs and boundaries identification and somatic tracking.
Define and declare the life you’re calling in through the tool of deliberate creation.

It is not uncommon for there to be caution attached to vocal sharing, whether spoken or sung.
Long held narratives and beliefs held around the voice can impact behaviour towards vocal caution, even facilitating shutdown as a form of protection.
Maybe speaking up feels like exposure - one that ignites anxiety, dread and discomfort.
Maybe at some point, by someone of influence, you were told you were “too much.”
Maybe you learned to stay silent to stay safe.
Here’s the thing though…
The raw and real resonance of your own sound is one of the most powerful and unique tools to soothe and regulate your nervous system.Why This Work Matters
When the vagus nerve is activated, whether through fear, grief or overwhelm, the sound of your own voice, partnered with your breath, can call your body back into safety.
These sessions aim to support in:
Noticing any blocks, tension and emotion stored in your throat that’s been limiting the expression of your voice whether spoken or sung
Gently reinhabiting your voice through paced, somatically aware connective exploration
Acknowledging the beliefs and fears that continue to keep you small or afraid to be heard and therefore seen
Reclaiming your vocal expression as a pathway to self-settling, confidence, liberation and empowerment
This isn’t vocal coaching - no vocal experience is required.
It’s nervous-system work through sound.
What’s Possible in These Sessions:
A deeper trust in being able to access your voice and breath during times that your brain and body meets dysregulation and could use your support
Greater clarity and ease in expressing your needs, preferences, boundaries, and desires
Gradual dissolving of old survival stories rooted in shame, silencing, fear of judgment or loss
A felt sense of relief, regulation, and reconnection

These somatic soundwork sessions are rooted in intention, presence and attunement. They offer a space that bypasses language and invites your body to recalibrate into a parasympathetic state.
This is a gentle space for deep rest, restoration and recalibration through vibration.
This offering can support you during times of:
Overwhelm, burnout or depletion. When deep rest feels challenging to land within, the medicine drum facilitates a somatic re-experiencing akin to the womb-state - a place where your needs were met so you could simply be.
Anxiety and / or agitation or inner chaos. The medicine drum has a re-anchoring effect, helping you return to grounded presence when the world within or around feels unsteady.
Physical ailments. Through focused, affirmatory attention, the elemental frequencies of the drum can relieve pain or soften energy held in constricted places.
Intrusive thoughts or spiraling mind-states. The trance-like rhythm of the drum supports the settling of mental noise, inviting you back into communion with a quieter, more centered self.
No effort is required from you. Just presence, breath and receiving.

Shamanic Breathwork is a dynamic, somatic, feeling-focused modality of transformation. A conscious-connected circular breathing technique is drawn upon which aids in dissolving the Ego's masks and defenses to make way for a natural, altered state of consciousness akin to a dreamlike state.
Facilitating access to the subconscious mind serves to awaken the inner-healer within, or inner-shaman - the part of your 'self' that with compassionate, curious witnessing, attention and care can move towards integrating any content illuminated for the next stage of your personal evolution.
Specifically curated chakra-attunded music supports this sensory experience.
Shamanic Breathwork is typically offered in a group at Grace’s studio - Centre of You. If however you would prefer to practice this modality outside of a group setting for a more controlled environment this 1-1 session may suit your needs.
What to expect:
This is an active session of feeling, movement and authentic expression where you may receive powerful insights and wisdom, tap into your essence and connect deeply with the self. This process can uncover long-held energetic and/or behavioural patterns of limitation offering greater self-understanding and self-healing.
All that's asked is to commit to the process, surrender to the experience and breathe until you're surprised!
Possible experiences from your inward journey could include:
Traveling time and space (past or future timelines)
Journeying with beings from non-ordinary realms (spirit guides, ancestors, future children)
Shapeshifting into a spirit-animal
Visiting memories from experiences lived
Rendezvousing with the future-self
Receiving messages from higher realms of consciousness
From a physical perspective, you may experience a release of stagnant, stuck or repressed energy and/or emotion. This may unfurl peacefully or dynamically via movement and titrated catharsis.
True healing is found through one's embodied and integrated direct experience and for this reason, an integrative artwork process and optional opportunity to share is weaved into the container.
Important: Shamanic Breathwork requires a commitment to a cyclical breathing pattern and has the potential to bring about intense feelings which may result in strong physical and/or emotional release. This practice involves the voluntary hyper-oxygenation of your bloodstream, paving the way for reaching an altered state of consciousness where you may experience possibilities that are not grounded in this reality - you can control the intensity of the experience by adjusting your breathing pattern. You are always in control.
Contraindications (considerations for your safety): If you have Epilepsy, cardiovascular or blood pressure issues you may wish to consider carefully if joining a dynamic breathwork process is appropriate for you. This type of breathwork is not recommended for pregnant women. If you are living with a mental health condition or challenges, please check-in with your current capacity to join. Should you be experiencing active episodes of psychosis, please do not join at this time. You are always most welcome to initiate a conversation to discuss your particular needs via grace@centreofyou.com.au. It's best that you attend on a relatively empty stomach and eat a grounding meal following the practice.
Trigger/activation warning: This practice encourages the authentic and uninhibited expression of all that arises in real-time. This could appear as screaming, crying, laughter or other forms of vocal sounding. You may hear such sounds from participants around you. This modality invites you to remain centred within your own process and interpret other people's authentic expressions as their journey without attaching to it. If you feel triggered in response to another’s experience or if you require any attention 1-1, you can simply put your hand up for support. If you would prefer to practice this modality outside of a group setting for a more controlled environment, you may consider connecting with Grace for a 1-1 session.

This is a phone-based offering, available exclusively to existing clients, for moments when you find yourself inside a trigger or activation - when your nervous system is overwhelmed and you need to be met, not managed.
You don’t need to explain everything.
You don’t need to make it make sense.
You don’t need to hold it alone.What this session offers:
A non-judgmental, regulated presence alongside you so you can be seen, received and heard with compassion
A gentle offering of alternate perspectives to take-or-leave when protective mechanisms are in their full power
An offering of nervous system tools to support a return to self and centre
No pressure to “solve” the trigger - just an invitation to see it and be with it in a new way
Our triggers are our teachers. While they can feel raw, revealing, and often inconvenient, they too are invitations that point us towards the unmet needs of our younger parts.
When we’re devoted to the path of self-understanding, each activation can become a doorway into deeper awareness and insights.
Because ‘the work’ is sacred and ongoing, what we witness arise inside of these support connections will be gently woven into our future sessions. There they will be explored with the spaciousness and integration they deserve.
